Economic Development to Hold Business Roundtable

The Economic Development Department is hosting a Quarterly Business Roundtable on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Waldorf West Library (10405 O’Donnell Place, Waldorf) from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Come and learn more about Charles County economic development and what is happening in the county, as well as network with the local business community.
The main focus of this meeting will be on business development outreach and agriculture. Vivian Mills of the Charles County Charitable Trust will present the findings on the economic impact of nonprofits study. The event will conclude with a Q&A session.
“The economic health of Charles County, Maryland is based on our existing businesses,” said Chief of Business Development Lucretia Freeman-Buster. “We will be going out to speak with Charles County businesses to better understand their needs and develop targeted programs to support business growth.”
