On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Charles County. Domestic violence is a serious crime that affects people of all races, ages, gender, and economic levels. The County Commissioners encourage residents to learn more about preventing domestic violence awareness and show support for organizations that provide advocacy and support to victims.
