Notice is hereby given that the Charles County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on a proposed amendment to the County Adequate Public Facilities Manual, on August 20, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room located in the County Government Building, 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, Maryland.

Bulk School Allocations for Minor Subdivisions
The proposed amendments to the Charles County Adequate Public Facilities Manual would amend Section 4.0 – Policy for Determining Adequacy of Schools. The amendments would adjust the allowance of bulk school allocations for minor subdivisions from 3 to 4 allocations by right, since 1992, in addition to the parent/original development right of an existing parcel of land.
Citizens wishing to make verbal or written comments are encouraged to attend the hearing.
