Development Rights and Responsibilities Agreements
The Charles County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room of the Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland, to consider the proposed Development Rights and Responsibilities Agreement (DRRA) Amendment #4 for the Town Center South project. The Applicant is proposing to clarify the provisions of the DRRA related to the obligations of the owner of Lot 13 (last parcel for development) in the pending development of the site.
Citizens wishing to make oral or written comments are encouraged to attend the hearing. Those individuals or representatives of groups wishing to speak must sign in. Speaker sign-up will begin 30 minutes (½ hour) prior to the hearing and will end at the commencement of the hearing. Each speaker will be allotted three (3) minutes. Written comments may be submitted in lieu of oral testimony, or to expand upon oral testimony, to the Department representative listed in this notice. The County Commissioners reserve the right to extend the time frame allotted for the hearing.
A copy of the Staff Report will be available in the Department of Planning and Growth Management, County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland fourteen days prior to the Hearing.
