Notice is hereby given that the Charles County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on a proposed revision to the previously approved General Development Plan for the Waldorf Station (formerly known as Waldorf Crossing) Transit Oriented Development (TOD), known as PDZA #00-07, on October 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room located in the County Government Building, 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, Maryland.

The applicant, GG CAL Waldorf Holding LLC c/o Greenberg Gibbons Commercial, has requested approval of a revision to the previously approved General Development Plan (GDP) for PDZA #00-07 on approximately 141 acres of land in Waldorf at the Charles-Prince George's County line, located on both the northbound and southbound sides of U.S. Route 301, and bounded by the Mattawoman Creek to the west, Mattawoman-Beantown Road - MD Route 5 to the east and Substation Road to the south.  The principal revision proposed to the GDP is to reduce the number of previously approved development “districts” within the project from three (3) to two (2); however, the total maximum number of residential dwelling units, the total maximum square footage of commercial area, and the ratio of retail to non-retail development within the square footage of commercial area remain unchanged from the original approval.   
 
The proposed revision to the General Development Plan and associated documents will be available for review on the Planning Commission BoardDocs website on October 15, 2018 at the following web address: http://www.boarddocs.com/md/chrlsco/Board.nsf/Public.
