THE BOARD OF APPEALS FOR CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND has been petitioned by Waldorf IL-AI Investors, LLC, for approval of a Special Exception use and associated Variance, in order to construct a 4-story building to be utilized as a nursing care/intermediate care facility, as provided in Article XIII, §297-212, (Use #4.03.200), Article XXV, §297-415 and Article XXV, §297-416 of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The requested Variance is to increase the Maximum Height Limitation allowed in the Medium-Density Residential Zone, established in §297-90 B (Figure VI-4). The project site, designated as Tax Map 8, Grid 13, Parcel 406, consists of approximately 9.68 acres and is in the Medium-Density Residential (RM) Zone. The address of the subject property is 2780 Jennifer School Lane in Waldorf, Maryland.
The Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a Public Hearing will be held on this matter Tuesday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland.
