The Charles County Board of Appeals is reviewing their currently adopted Rules of Procedure and invites the public to comment on their current and future order of meetings and business conduct. The purpose of the Rules of Procedure is to facilitate a firm basis for resolving any procedural questions that may arise and to outline the duties of its officers. For example, the Rules of Procedures may govern specific items such as time and place of sessions, hearings and appeals process, duties of officers, and, the order of the agenda.
This discussion will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Charles County Government Building, La Plata, Maryland. Verbal or written testimony will be considered in their deliberations for updating the current Rules of Procedure.
